Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Don Awunah is dead.
The late AIG Don Awunah, a Benue – born cop, died on Monday morning after a brief illness at a private medical hospital in Abuja, where he was receiving treatment.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumiyiwa Adejobi, has confirmed his death to Daily Independent.
Until his death, Don Awunah was an Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police in-charge of Zone 16 Command.
Late Awunah was a former Force Public Relations Officer and Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State between January 29 and August 2018.
