The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Abdullahi Adamu has said that Presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will face sanctions over his comments in Ogun State this week.
Adamu made this known while speaking to newsmen at the party national secretariat on Saturday.
Although the Chairman did not disclose the nature of the punishment, he said the former Lagos State Governor insulted President Muhammadu Buhari and described his action as unbecoming and insulting.
Tinubu had during an interactive session APC members in Ogun State, narrated how he laboured to ensure President Muhammadu Buhari’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate in 2014.
Despite apologizing and retracting his statement, the National chairman of the party noted that the apology was not enough as the former Lagos governor will still be punished.
