The govenor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has announced that he’s stepping down for the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This is coming minutes after Senator Godswill Akpabio stepped down from the race for the presidential ticket of All Progressives Congress, APC for the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
After him, another former governor, Ibikunle stepped down for the former Lagos Governor too.
Amosun urged his supporters to vote for Tinubu as the right man for the job.
Earlier, Akpabio announced his withdrawal from the race few minutes ago at the ongoing primary election of the ruling party.
Senator Akpabio, former Governor of Akwa Ibom state said Tinubu has all it takes to transform Nigeria like he did Lagos State.
He charged all his delegates to vote for the jagaban.
