The Department of State Services, DSS, has rescued Hajia Laure Mai-Kunu, the aged mother of the Kano Central Senatorial District candidate who was kidnapped in Kano State.
The mother of the lawmaker who was kidnapped in Zaura town in Ungogo Local Government area of Kano State, was rescued in far away Jigawa State.
A source with DSS revealed that the mother of the lawmaker, along side another aged woman who has been in captivity for over 10days was rescued by the operatives.
Also, The Chairman, Ungogo Local Government Area, Abdullahi Ramat, confirmed the rescue of Hajia Laure in Jigawa State.
