The forum of past state Chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has congratulated the winner of the just concluded presidential primary election of the ruling party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The forum in a statement issued on Thursday said the victory of the National Leader of the APC is an indication that “perseverance pays”, adding that they “didn’t expect anything less.”
The statement which was signed by Prophet Joes Ode Erue and Dr. Ben Nwoye, the Forum Chairman and Secretary respectively, noted that Tinubu has been instrumental to success of the party, while thanking president Muhammadu Buhari for supporting a democratic process, the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and his National Working Committee for conducting a free, fair and transparent primaries.

The Forum of Former APC State Chairmen heartily congratulates H.E. Senator Ahmed Tinubu for his resounding victory at the just concluded APC Presidential primary election.
His victory shows that perseverance pays. We did not expect anything less.
As a change Agent and a patriotic citizen his commitment to the progressives movement was instrumental to the successes APC has recorded since 2015. We are very confident that with you as our flag bearer victory is assured come 2023.
We are equally grateful to the progressives Northern Governors Forum for supporting power shift to the Southern Nigeria. Their decision to support candidates of Sounthern extraction is a clear testament that APC is a party of fairness, equality and justice.
We equally thank our amiable President for allowing APC Presidential Candidate to emerge through democratic means. History will always remember President Muhammadu Buhari as indeed a true Democrat.
We commend the National Chairman, H.E. Senator Abdullahi Adamu and his National Working Committee for organizing an outstanding Special Convention were APC Presidential Candidate emerged through free, fair and credible primary election.
We shall work tirelessly to ensure the victory of our party come 2023.
