Senator Ogba Obinna, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, has nominated Rt.Hon Oliver Osi PhD, as his running mate.
Senator Ogba in a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu through the National Organising Secretary, said his choice of Dr. Osi was after a wide-range consultation with the stakeholders of the party in the state.
Ogba said he has no doubt that the choice of the lawmaker “will add strong electoral value to our the ticket.”
Until his appointment, Dr Osi is the member representing Ivo LGA State Constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
He’s currently the chairman, Capital territory and deputy chairman, House Committee on Health.
His name has since been transmitted and received by the headquarters of Peoples Democratic Party.
