Enugu SME Centre says plans have been concluded to commence the Enugu SME Hardware Garage (ESHG) training.
The Director General of Enugu SME Centre and the Special Adviser to Enugu State Governor on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Arinze Chilo Offiah, said ““Enugu SME Hardware Garage Training (ESHG) is in partnership with Hardware Garage as part of the Agency’s innovative Human Capital Development Programs.”
Offiah disclosed that “participants will gain first-hand technical knowledge in building of inverters, the installation of smart solar home systems, and the general operations and maintenance of power, mobility manufacturing, computer-controlled systems, and agricultural technologies.
“Participants that complete this program shall learn to become Industry-based business leaders and solar developers and Participants shall learn the design and fabrication of Professional Electronic equipment.”

Director General of the Centre further stated that the training which will last for 3 months will include “theoretical and practical training with hands-on experience. The participants will also be able to access technical experts.
“After the training, Greengage Technologies will give employ the best 10 candidates as interns.
Speaking on the cost of the training, Offiah said The ESHG is priced at N40,000 (Forty Thousand Naira Only). This has been subsidized heavily by the Enugu SME Center and its partner; Hardware Garage from the original price of N150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only).”
Interested participants that don’t have the registration fee can access a loan from Enugu SME Centre at ZERO Interest to be repaid monthly five months after the training i.e. effectively an eight (8) months loan tenor (inclusive of the 3 months training period. This equates to N5,000 monthly.
