The family of Amujiogu have announced the of their father, High Chief( Ozo) Gabriel Amujiogu, (Enyi Kwaa Uzo 1 of Ngwo Clan).
According to a notice sent to JOURNALIST101, his peaceful transition occured on the early hours of Monday, the 8th Day of August 2022.
In a statement issued by his Eldest Son, Ozo (Engr) Anthony Ani, he said that “the great Iroko had taken a bow.”
“High Chief Amujiogu (Enyi kwaa Uzo) until his death, was an astute community leader, dogged human right fighter, fearless leader and an uncommon helper of the poor.
“While in his sojourn, he distinguished himself as a great farmer, industrialist, contractor and a king maker with an uncommon leadership prowess.
“Among his greatest achievement was his uncommon contribution in ensuring the establishment of the multi billion naira Ama Breweries of the Nigerian Breweries Plc located at Umuezeani Community Ameke Ngwo, despite the challenges.”
Also commenting on the demise his father, oneof his great sons, Ozo (Barr) Alex Amujiogu extolled the leadership virtues of his father whom he referred to as ‘One man Squad’ with an indefatigable zeal and a mark of an achiever.
Barr. Amujiogu who’s the legal adviser of Enugu chapter of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) said his father is a “man who detest injustice and loves the socio-economic improvement of the living conditions of his people especially the poor.
“Indeed, his death is a great blow to the people of Ngwo Clan and Enugu State in general.”
