Dr Ejiofor Godwin, a Policing Stakeholder and a renowned Author and Public Speaker, has commended the Nigeria Police Force on the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other (POCACOV)which is the NPF community policing initiative and public relations tool.

According to him, the programme, POCACOV, which is involved in community driven activities for value reorientation is a veritable transformational tool to change the mindsets of young minds from negativism to positivism

Dr Ejiofor Godwin who also is the president, Association of Private Schools Proprietors, Enugu State who spoke over the weekend said he’s ready to lend his voice as a policing stakeholder, to deepen the message of POCACOV.

He revealed that he has followed up POCACOV Programmes, activities and maintained that its objectives and aims, especially ‘our Children Must Thrive, POCACOV Community/Rural (Neighbourhood) Sports’ are in tandem with his passion and philosophy, hence the need to join the campaign to make impact.

“As a writer, we shall make our children thrive through writing skills programs. As a public speaker, we can also involve our children in those programs that revolve around curricular and Core Curricular activities.

“I am a marriage Counsellor and am happy to state here that I am excited when i discovered that POCACOV as a police Program involving members of the community has an activity tagged POCACOV IN MY FAMILY to reinvent the role of parents in the moral upbringing of their children.

“I am also impressed with the Nigeria Police Force having A POCACOV Resource Centre to conclude the process of evidence based policing and which is required in modern day policing (community policing). As partners in progress and a stakeholder ,I will help in re-igniting the writing skills and passion in our children which help them to thrive,”Dr Ejiofor Godwin stated.
