The Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) no longer has any known state secretariat.
The party no longer has access to its last known address in the state; 126 Park Avenue, GRA.
Journalist101 gathered that the owner of the property ejected the party from the property following their failure to renew their rent.
When our correspondent visited the party’s office, it was observed that the flags and signposts depicting the building as APC office have been removed and the padlock to the office replaced.
Efforts to reach any member of the state leadership for comments on the development failed.
The immediate past Chairman of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye simply told our correspondent that “I’m no longer the party chairman and not in the best position to answer your question. Do well to contact the current leadership because we duly handed over to them.”
This might have added to the woes of the APC in Enugu after their chairman, Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah was debarred, suspended and expelled from the party by his ward for various accusations which he failed to address.
