In matching their words with action, Brightest Hope Organization (BHO); a support group of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced the unification of aggrieved members of the party, in a bid to stand a chance in the coming election.
The Enugu State coordinator of the group, Hon. Anthony Ejiofor Okoloagu, who spoke to our correspondent said they have started reaching out to critical stakeholders of the party that aren’t happy with the happenings in the party recently.
Hon. Okoloagu said the move is part of the charge given to them the Founder and National President of BHO, Hon. Sampson Solomon, during their inaugural meeting in Enugu on Monday.
JOURNALIST101 recalls that Hon. Solomon said BHO will be a fortress for the unity of the party as it will provide shelter for any aggrieved member or anyone that was pushed out of the party.
“I appeal to to all the aggrieved members and those that were disbanded to continuing having faith in APC as BHO will accommodate all of us. We’re all fighting for the same course which is to deliver our amiable candidates and that should be our binding force.”
He also admonished the state leadership to show dexterity in their relationship with leaders of the party and other members so as to avoid any form of squabbles but exhibit great kindness towards all.
Okoloagu said they’re determined to unite everyone to ensure their Guber Candidate, Hon. Uche Nnaji is elected as the next governor of Enugu State.
He said their consultation is beginning to yield fruits and the complaints by aggrieved stakeholders and members taken note of, with the assurance that their complaints will be given due attention.
“I can assure you that we have commenced work. As expected, the task is enormous but one complain that’s in the mouth of many persons is the ‘Udinisation of Enugu APC’- a situation where all the sensitive appointments accrued to Enugu goes to Udi local government area of the state.
“Many of them have complained that the Minister; DG Von; SA to the President; National chairman of APC, South; the expelled state chairman and other positions are occupied by Udi people. I assured them that their complaint will be taken to the necessarily quarters because BHO isn’t just your regular support group.”
Hon. Okoloagu went further to say that they have time to set up the needed structure with every member of the party on board.
He declined mentioning some of the stakeholders reached already positing that “what we’re doing at this stage is very sensitive but the world needs to know we’re working. In the coming days, we will give you further details but as we speak, members of BHO are mobilizing the 260 wards in the state and its going to be a political tsunami when we’re done.”
