Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party has assured Nigerians in Diaspora that by 2027, they will be able to have a voting power.

The Labour Party presidential candidate gave the assurance on Friday while interacting with Nigerians in Frankfurt, Germany.

Obi said they’ll “continue to engage the Nigerian Diaspora in ways that is mutually beneficial. By 2027 election, Nigerian Diaspora must have a voice via absentee ballots.”

Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State also spoke on other burning issues in the country. He proffered solutions on how his administration will tackle the security challenges of the country, improve education as well as production.

“We will pursue intangible assets of good governance, security of lives and properties through an aggressive increase in personnel and equipment and inclusive training of operatives in our security agencies.

“We will aggressively pursue human capital development in the education and health sectors with a view of meeting global funding targets and best practices.

“We will move our country robustly from consumption to production and especially with strong support from exportation of Nigerian manufactured goods and commodities.

Peter Obi also told his audience that his administration “will have zero tolerance for corruption and will cut the cost of governance.”

Peter Obi who’s billed to be in the US on Saturday did a stopover in Germany to interact with Nigerians there before proceeding to speak at a town hall meeting organised by the Columbia Africa Business Club and Black Law Students Association of the University of Columbia, United States of America.
