A two-storey building under construction has collapsed in the Kubwa area of Abuja, leaving workers trapped.
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were carrying out rescue operation as the time of this report.
The collapsed four bedroom flat, according to an eyewitness, is located around Aso Savings Bank in Kubwa village.
The collapse occurred around 11:pm on Thursday, an eyewitness told our correspondent.
It is unclear the number of persons who were affected, but a resident said some injured persons have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
