The leadership of Umudim, Eziowa in Ezeagu local government, Tuesday, 30th August, 2022, declared their total support for the reelection of the Member representing them in the state House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chima Obieze in the 2023 general election.
The very elated leaders of the community said Barr. Obieze who represents Ezeagu Constituency has no rival with regards to quality representation and humility.
The President-General of the community; Chief Theo Chiawa who led the delegation to the Enugu home of the lawmaker, said they’re satisfied with the sterling achievements of Rt. Hon.
“We’re happy to identify with you because you have represented us very well and you’re also very acceptable to your constituents.”
“You’re a very sellable and credible candidate, thus, convincing our people to cast their ballot for you won’t be a difficult task. Today, we assure you that we will deliver a block vote to you in the coming election because we’re pleased with your representation in the House.”
Chiawa urged Rt. Hon. Obieze to continue doing the good work he’s doing and be rest assured that they’re strongly behind him.
Professor Emeka Obuka and Kelvin Okonkwo who’s a former education secretary in their separate speeches, thanked Obieze for his hospitality and for always identifying with the people.
They said his reelection will be of immense benefit to Ndi Ezeagu and pleaded with him not to abandon their community. They also prayed to God to bless him and preserve him from the enemies.
In his response, Obieze expressed gratitude to the community and their leaders for their show of love and assured them he will continue to represent the people of Ezeagu with love and dedication.
He enjoined them to go back to their community and continue the sensitization and mobilization of their people towards the task ahead.
Also present during the visit are; Hon. Eddy Akpata, a former Secretary and Vice Chairman of Ezeagu council area; Hon. Dr Sab Igboeme, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education and the Councillor representing Akama/Amankwo ward, Hon Maximus Chekwube Onwuama
