The General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has offered full scholarship and higher paid job to a lady who was sacked by her boss for attending the 2-Million-Man match organised by Peter Obi’s supporters in Port Harcourt A week ago.
The Peter Obi Supporter who works in a hotel said she was laid off by her boss because she was seen in a video at the port Harcourt 2-million-man match for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
The lady who narrated that the Saturday was her off day from work in a video posted on social media, said her boss said she should meet Obi to give her work.
“He said I should go to Peter Obi to give me work. Since I’m now a politician, I should go and meet Obidients to give me work.
“Before the day I was laid off from work, the brother to my boss asked how much I was paid because he saw my video. I told him I wasn’t paid.
She cried out for help saying “Nigerians should come to her help because I just gained admission in the university and that work was my only hope of training myself. My younger sister who just finished her WAEC is in Port Harcourt with me. I’m from a family that’s not financially stable.”
The clergy in a post release via the official Facebook page of his church said he interviews the girl and found out that her claims were true.
“Remember the girl that was sacked after she attended Peter obi rally in port harcourt.
“I just finished interviewing her on the phone.
“Number one: She was on off duty when she went for the port harcourt rally.
“Number two : She works in a hotel in port harcourt which I don’t want to mention the name.
“Number three : She is also a student of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education and it’s from the work and little salary she trains herself in school.
“After interviewing her, I found out she is gifted and her education can not be frustrated.
“So starting from today 1 September 2022, she does not need to look for school fees for Ajuru university, because I have added her name to OPM local university scholarship till graduation.
“Number 2, the hotel she was working her salary was 20k.
“I have given her automatic employment to resume immediately in my water factory with double her former salary from 20k to 40k.”
