Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, says he’s fulfilled that the Osisioma flyover became a reality today, following it’s completion and commissioning.
The flyover became a talking point and political opponents went to town with the news that the Governor won’t complete the Osisioma flyover.
However, commissioning the project today, the special guest of honour and Rivers State Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for changing the developmental narratives of the state. He said he was proud to be associated with Governor Ikpeazu even as he stated that Abians did not make a mistake in electing him as their Governor.
He extolled Governor Ikpeazu for utilizing the meagre funds of the State to do projects for the people, saying that with the projects the Governor has done, his senatorial bid and election of other PDP candidates in the State are sure.
Ikpeazu, who took to his Twitter page said the “Premier” flyover “solves a major grid lock challenge on that axis of our commercial city,” adding that other projects in the state will be commissioned just like the Osisioma flyover.
“I have a personal sense of fulfillment on the occasion of the official commissioning of our premier flyover because it has solved a major grid lock challenge on that axis of our commercial city. It also has capacity to further enable trade & commerce!
“The same narrative will follow Faulks Rd by the time we finish it as it will support Ariaria international market just as our band new Ngwa Rd seeks to support Ngwa Rd market.
“Our determination to bequeath quality infrastructure to Abians will not be shaken by any factor.”
