Malaysia’s palm oil stocks rose 18.16 per cent from the previous month to 2.09 million tonnes in August, official data showed Monday.
According to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board, the world’s second-largest palmoil producer saw its crude palmoil production grow 9.67 per cent month on month to 1.73 million tonnes in August.
Palmoil exports slipped 1.94 per cent month on month to 1.3 million tons in the same month.
From January to August, Malaysia exported 9.81 million tonnes of palmoil worth 59.93 billion ringgit (13.31 billion U.S. dollars).
