Jkings properties, one of the leading Real Estate firms in Enugu State has paid the school fees of over 40 students of Government Secondary School, Abakiliki Road, Enugu.
The Chief Executive Officer of Jkings Properties, Mr Ozor Uche Nwachukwu told our correspondent that the gesture is in commemoration of Nigeria 62nd Independence day celebration.
Mr Ozor said they selected the best students and second best in JSS 2 and SSS 1 in the school and his company; Jkings Properties paid their first term school fees.
He said the gesture is “to celebrate and encourage the best students of the JSS 2 and SSS 1 classes.
“These young ones are the future of Nigeria and we want to encourage them to be be better and do better for themselves and take this nation to greater heights.
“42 students benefitted and our choice of the school is because we understand that their students are from middle and lower classes of the society and they really need the assistance.”
