The spokesperson of Enugu State Police Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, says their operatives are on the trail of the ‘masked hoodlums’ that attacked their Divisional Headquarters.
Journalist101 had reported that unknown gunmen attacked the Inyi Divisional headquarters of the force in Oji-River local government area of the state in the early hours of Sunday, 9th October, 2022.
The attackers killed two persons suspected to be an officer on duty and a civilian that came to make a complain at the station.
The attackers that came in two vehicles also set the building housing the station ablaze.
Ndukwe while responding to an enquiry by our correspondent, said; “Police Operatives are on the trail of the masked hoodlums.
“Further development will be communicated, please.”
