Steven Gerrard, the Head Coach of English Premier league (EPL) side, Aston Villa has parted way with the club.
This is coming less than 30 minutes after the Liverpool legend led the Aston Villa side to a humiliating 3-0 loss to Fulham.
The club confirmed the development via their official website.
“Aston Villa Football Club can confirm that Head Coach Steven Gerrard has left the club with immediate effect.”
A club spokesman said: “We would like to thank Steven for his hard work and commitment and wish him well for the future.”
Steven Gerrard took charge of the EPL side on 11th, November, 2021, played 40 games, won 13, had 8 draws, 19 losses.
Aston Villa under him scored 49 goals and conceded 52 goal. Out of a possible 120 points, he garnered only 47 points which 1.18 points per game
