Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned ruling on who becomes the Labour Party governorship candidate in Enugu state.

The ticket has been under contention following the manner Chijioke Edeoga’s name made it to INEC as the candidate of the party in the forthcoming general election.

Edeoga in what many stakeholders described as a ‘kangaroo’ arrangement was nominated as the candidate of the.

Of one of the leading aspirants for the same ticket, Captain Everest Nnaji approached the Court seeking redress.

In the suit, the philanthropist and air travel guru popularly known as Odengene, asked the court to either cancel the exercise which threw up Edeoga or pronounce him the candidate having satisfied the conditions of the party to nominated so.

The Court slated today for judgment on the matter but the trial judge adjourned to Wednesday, 9th November, 2022.

He said the judgement isn’t ready yet.
