The newly elected executives of Private Broadcasters Chapel in Enugu State

Private Broadcast Chapel (PBC) of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Enugu State Council, have elected new executives that will pilot the affairs of the chapel for the next three years.

In the election held on the 11th of November, 2022 in Enugu, Richard Asiegbu Jr. of Urban Radio FM was elected as the chairman of the chapel while Ebere Idam of Dream Fm was elected as the Vice Chairman.

Also elected were Sandra Ukeje of Solid Fm as General Secretary; Moses Nnabuife of Owelle FM, Assistant Secretary; Ifeoma Nwabufo of Urban Fm, Treasure; Emmanuel Terwase of Ombudsmanng blog, Financial Secretary and Emmanuel Nkenang of Family Love Fm was elected as the Auditor of the Chapel.

Addressing the new executives after issuing them their certificates of return, the Chairman Credential Committee, Comrade Michael Ilediagu charged them to put in their best to change the narrative of the Chapel, stressing that they have all it takes to be a force to be reckoned with in NUJ Enugu State.

He commended the members of the chapel for their conduct which made the process seamless and urged them to support the new executives.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman of PBC, Comrade Richard Asiegbu Jr, said his administration will entrench the tenet of transformative leadership in the Chapel.

The Chairman said that, his administration will anchor on the people, foster unity among members and working with his executives, will give the chapel adequate and quality representation at the state level.

He appealed to their members to give his administration the needed support and make themselves available for activities of the chapel.
