Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah has urged the youths of Enugu to support the governorship of candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu State, Barr. Peter Mbah because of the numerous  Human Capital Development Initiative programmes he has in stock for them.

Chilo-Offiah gave the charge during the just concluded Townhall series organised by the Grow Enugu Agenda Project (GEAP), in Igboetiti local government area.

GEAP is a Non-Governmental Organisation consisting of like-minded private business owners with the collective objective to foster Human Capital Development among the people of Enugu State and develop the Private Sector Ecosystem in the State.

At the Townhall meeting which was kick-started ib Igboetiti local government area, GEAP discussed Dr. Peter Mbah’s Manifesto on key areas of Job Creation, Skill Acquisition, Human Capital Development and Business Growth.

Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah who’s also the Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development, said the youths will be the biggest beneficiaries of Mbah administration because of his numerous initiatives for them.

“Peter Mbah has a lot of initiatives he’s thinking about. One of them is the establishment of innovation incubators.

“In page 22 of his manifesto, our candidate said he will ‘institutionalise innovation incubators in key sectors: Agriculture, energy and natural resources, climate change, information and communication, and financial inclusion’. This will give our youths more millage and help them to be more productive.”

Chilo-Offiah added that Mbah has given Ndi Enugu the right to hold his administration accountable and query what he will be doing, because they can always go back to his written manifesto.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of Igbo Etiti LGA, Hon. Ikenna Nwodo (Omenuko) described the initiative of the Grow Enugu Agenda Project as a “substance-based” coalition support group made up of private sector and public sector individuals with a mandate on Human Capital Development and Private Sector Ecosystem Growth to support the gubernatorial candidacy of Dr. Peter Mbah for 2023.

In his word: “As you know, Human Capital Development is a key tenant of my administration and we are pleased to partner with GEAP to provide grants for free training in technical skills such as Programming and Product Design, Data Analytics, Poultry Farming, Construction Skills amongst others.

“This is a partnership that would continue to grow and we intend to ensure our youths are positively impacted with a route to job creation, skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development.”
