“We found Anambra to have been consistent so long as network is okay, and materials are on ground.

“We also discovered that Cameras have been installed in all offices to monitor all the units. There are cameras in the capturing room, corridor and gate in order to know people entering and leaving the premises due to the insecurity situation in the state.”

“To ensure orderliness, the Comptroller Mrs. Odikpo reportedly acquired an apparatus that dispenses numbers to applicants; this number cannot be duplicated. Between the hours of 8am to 6pm the doors of the capturing room is open, when its your number you go in, sign and then leave. Without the number nobody attends to you.

“Abuja has also helped by sending a new finger print machine which is working perfectly. With that the fingerprint problem at the Command has been curtailed and everything is going on successfully.

“The headquarters also sent a new passport reader to facilitate quick issuance of passports

“An increase in the request for passport has also been identified in the South East and Anambra is successfully handling the situation.

“In all, the Minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Arigbesola and Comptroller General of Immigration, Isa Jere appear to have a clear cut vision and what they are pushing for is achievable as seen in Anambra.”
