The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FRCN South East Zone, Enugu Chapel holds her 5th Annual Lecture Series Thursday,15th December 2022.
A statement by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Obinna Ogbuka indicates that the event will take place at Sam Nwaneri Event Center, FRCN Enugu Premises beginning at noon.
According to the statement,the APC deputy Governorship candidate in Enugu State,Chief George Targbo Ogara will be the Keynote speaker while the National Co-ordinator, Coalition of Support Groups for Atiku Abubakar, Owelle Ejikeme Odumegwu Esq PhD will be the guest speaker.
The event will also feature special recognition to some outstanding staff of the News department for the year under review.
All labour leaders and Unions in the state, Government functionaries, the academia, Students and captains of industry are expected to grace the occasion which will have a renowned Traditional Ruler of Ibeagwa Community in Enugu East Local Government Area,Igwe Emmanuel Ugwu as the royal father of the Day.
The theme of this year’s Annual Lecture Series is ” The Media and the Task of Building a Sustainable Democracy”.
