The candidacy of Rt. Hon. FSA Uzor, the Peoples Democratic Party flagbearer for Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency has continued to revibrate across the length and breadth of the Constituency as more communities declare their support for the former speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly.
In the light of this, on Sunday, 15th January, 2023, three villages of Ogbugbuagu, Akpugo and Enugu Ogbagana under the umbrella of Izu- Une declared their unalloyed support for Dr. Uzor and all other PDP candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
In his address at the polling units visit organised by the Iwollo Ward Mobilization Committee for Dr. F SA Uzor and Engr Osita Ngwu held at Ugwuokpa Community Primary School, the campaign Coordinator of Dr F. S. A Uzor in Iwollo ward, Hon. Engr Ozor Okey Igbonekwu expressed confidence that the immediate past Chief of Staff to Enugu State Governor will get more than 98% of votes cast in every polling booth in Iwollo ward and beyond.
Speaking further Ozor Igbonekwu said that Dr. Uzor is a big gift and anybody who has him has something more than gold, noting that the campaign team has been reaching out to all important stakeholders and groups to ensure the desired victory.
Earlier in his speech, the convener and director of Dr. Uzor campaign organisation , Chief Alfred Enemuo said that the essence of the event was to foster a collaborative effort among the three villages of Ogbugbuagu, Akpugo and Enugu Ogbagana to deliver our brother in the election.
He appealed to all the electorates in the area to come out in good numbers and vote for Dr. Uzor as well as all other PDP candidates.
Responding Rt. Hon. Dr Uzor thanked the members of the community, while expressing his happiness for the grand reception given him and his team.
He said he was touched by the degree of preparations done by the hosts all by themselves without financial contribution from his campaign team.
Speaking further, Dr. Uzor appealed to them to vote for all PDP candidates starting from Bar. Peter Mbah, the PDP Governorship candidate; Engr Osita Ngwu, the senatorial candidate; Dr F. S. A Uzor, House of Representative candidate as well as Hon Chima Obieze who is vying for Enugu State House of Assembly.
Speaking on his achievements, Dr. Uzor noted that this is the second time he will be seeking a public office after 2003 when he was elected as a member of the Enugu State House of Assembly. But despite the fact that his other positions from 2003 till date are appointive, he worked tirelessly to attract dividends of democracy to his people.
Some listed some of his achievements to include the following:
1. Attraction of Iwollo High School
2. Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo formerly referred to as Enugu State college of Agriculture and Agro Entrepreneurship, Iwollo
3. Ezeagu North Development Centre and the location of it’s headquarters In Iwollo
4. Building of a brand new Iwollo customary court at Igbogadi
5. Attraction of 3.5 kilometer tarred road that crisscrossed Ugwuike and Owollotti
6. Mentanance of earth road that runs through Ogbugbuagu to Umezi olo and Enugu Ogbagana to Akpugo
7. Drilling of borehole and replacement of old one after it was vandalized
8. Facilitating the employment of many Iwollo people into civil service.
9. Provision of transformer to Akpugo people
Other speakers at the event include: Igwe Rapheal Okolo, the Omasi II of Iwollo Omasi; Chief Tobias Ezekwu, the chairman planning committee of the event; Engr. Pastor Simon Ebuo; Hon Dr. Mrs Anthonia Achu, Hon I. G Achu and Comrade Chibuike Ozoagu.
All the speakers harped on the need to elect Dr. Uzor to represent the area at the Green chamber.

The event witness presentation of about 209 pieces of customized caps with inscription, Vote Dr. F. S. A Uzor for House of Representatives, while Nwannebuike cultural dance troop provided side attractions.
