The popular Five Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party known as the G-5 have arrived Enugu ahead of the flag-off of the campaign of the party in the state.
The Enugu chapter of the PDP is set to flag-off her campaign in the state officially tomorrow at the Michael Okpara Square.
The Governors were received by their Enugu Counterpart, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu. Members of the the G-5 present include. Governors, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (Rivers), Dr. Samuel Ortom (Benue) and Engr. Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu who’s also a member of the group is conspicuously absent and this isn’t unconnected to the death of the his governorship candidate, Professor Uche Ikonne. The PDP’s Guber candidate passed on yesterday after a brief illness.
