Enugu state traditional rulers on Thursday, conferred Chieftaincy titles the G-5 Governors.
The G-5 Governors are in Enugu for the flag off of Enugu State PDP campaign scheduled to hold on Friday at the Michael Okpara Square, Independence Layout.
At a reception held for the Governors at the newly constructed Banquet Hall at the Old Government Lodge, GRA, Enugu, the Enugu State Council of traditional rulers led by their chairman, HRH Igwe Amb. Lawrence Agubuzu conferred the Chieftaincy title of Ochiagha (Army General), Ocheoha (Protector of the People) and Onwa (Moon) to the three governors.
While Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State was conferred with the tittle of Ochiagha, Dr. Samuel Ortom of Benue State was conferred with Ocheoha and Engr. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State was conferred with the Onwa title.
Igwe Agubuzu said the titles is in recognition of their doggedness and steadfastness in promoting the principles of equity, justice and fairness in the country.
