Voters have cried out over no election in some part of Warri Delta State while some part of Effurun held election.
Despite the heavy rain fall,Hundreds of voters came out in numbers to exercise their vote in the ongoing presidential and National Assembly NASS elections in Warri
In ward 9,unit 3 and 4 Igbudu primary school Warri South Local government area of Delta State no election is being held as at the time of this report.
Speaking to newsmen,one Mr Uwaoma Theophilus expressed dissatisfaction, called on local Government Chairman Dr.Tidi Michael Ejueyitsi to provide answers on why election is not held in the ward
While other voters enchants….”We want vote,we get PVC” there was no sign of any Inec Official in the ward.
In Alegbor Primary School Ward 1, Unit 5 and 6, in Uvwie council area of Delta state.
A voter, Chief Emmanuel Erute, told Journalists 101 reporter that materials arrived at the centre at 10:59 a.m.
Stating that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), had no hitches, he however noted that the Labour Party is not on the senatorial ballot paper.
Another voter, Christian Ohwofasa, who said he had been at the polling unit since 7:30a.m lamented the late arrival of the INEC officials and materials.
Meanwhile, a mild drama ensued at the polling centre when officials announced that they were out of thumb printing ink to continue the process at unit 6.
Some women who were in the queue protested the development, accusing the officials of trying to frustrate their efforts to exercise their franchise.
Efforts to speak with the officials over the development were futile.
However, it was observed political party agents were making efforts for more thumb printing ink to be delivered.
Also a Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), Ufuoma Diare, who spoke on the sidelines, commended the large turnout of voters and the electoral umpire.
Alleging that there have been “one or two manipulations,” he said, “they are trying to submerge the people. But Nigeria is waking up, everyone is beginning to believe that Nigeria will move forward. INEC has done a good job.”
