The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been declared winner of the governorship poll in Ezeagu local government area of Enugu State.
Announcing the results at the local government headquarters, the collation officer for the governorship election, Dr. F.M Adeni said Peter Mbah’s PDP got 7576 votes to win the local government.
The closest contender, Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party garnered 5949 votes while the APC candidate, Uche Nnaji got 963 votes.
Party AA got 5 votes, AAC 10 votes, ADC 30 votes, ADP 14 votes, APGA 300 votes, APM 29 votes, APP 11 votes, BP 18 votes, LP 5949 votes, NNPP 81 votes, NRM 20 votes, PRP 9 votes, SDP 3 votes, YPP 11 votes, ZLP 12 votes.
