The Enugu 2023 governorship election has been won and lost but one striking thing about the election was that it produced the exact outcome proclaimed by Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN had on the 12th of March, 2023 reechoed what he told the candidate of the Labour Party in the election, Chijioke Edeoga should he go against his instruction during his (Edeoga’s) visit.
Mbaka while playing host to Sir. Okey Ahiwe, the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State said he warned Edeoga that he will fail if he says he endorsed him when he didn’t.
“Chijioke Edeoga of Labour Party came to my house not long ago and I blessed him. I warned him not to video the prayer session, he assured me that there was no problem. I warned him that if he ever says I endorsed him, he will fail the election.
“By Monday, the same video I warned him about was everywhere that I’ve endorsed him. I called him and asked why are you criminal in your attitudinal behaviour? Why should you begin now to show me the hidden character of yours? Did I endorse you? I blessed you and handed you over to God, the same way I did to Peter Mbah of PDP, Frank Nweke of APGA and Uche Nnaji of APC.”
The outcome of the March 18th poll shows clearly that Mbaka’s pronouncement that Edeoga will fail his election came to pass as the Labour Party candidate lost to PDP’s Barr. Peter Mbah.
