The receipt of certificate of return by Enugu Governor-elect, Dr. Barr. Peter Mbah, has continued to elicit excitement and celebration among his supporters. The recent to join the party is Solidarity Alliance for Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai support group led by Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor (Ononenyi).
Hon. Nnajiofor who’s also the member representing Nkanu East Constituency in the state House of Assembly while noting that their joy is complete, feted members of the group in his country home, Mbulu-Owo.
The lawmaker stressed that with the “good news of the election of our principal and subsequent collection of certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, our joy is now complete.”
Speaking to newsmen, Nnajiofor described Mbah as a “divine gift to Enugu with the capacity, character, competence, compassion, mental stability and economic strength to turn the State around.”
He assured Ndi Enugu that they’ve made the right decision and “under his watch, there will be economic stability, security, peace, urban and physical infrastructure will thrive, there will be improvement in the ICT and tourism sectors.
Speaking on the impact of the group to the emergence of Mbah, Nnajiofor said: “We queued into his vision and metamorphosed into one of the most famous support groups and have been sustaining the vision and movement.
“We traversed the 17 LGAs, 260 wards and the entire polling units in the state. We were involved in door-to-door campaign to deepen the message of Peter Mbah.
“We thank our members across the 17 Local Government Areas, patrons, matrons, members of the Central working committee, LG coordinators ward executives gathered to thank God.”
On the future of group since the election is over, he revealed that soon, they will transform into Solidarity Alliance for Good Governance so they can be part of Mbah’s administration because they’re certain he (Mbah) will do well and Enugu people will rejoice.
Also, the lawmaker called on those that lost the election to support Mbah and see the entire process as divine because power comes from God.
Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor appealed to everyone to continue to maintain peace and embrace Mbah or seek legal redress if they most challenge the process and not result to violence.
