The founder of the RIG Nation and Pioneer Church, United Kingdom (UK), Apostle Tomi Arayomi who was arrested and detained by the operatives of Department of State Services (DSS) earlier on Friday at a Lagos Airport, has been released.
The news of his release was disclosed by the pastor’s associate, Byocean Emerald, via her Facebook page.
Emerald, an artist, wrote: “Hallelujah, Apostle Tomi Arayomi and his wife was just released!!
Tobi Arayomi just got word they are out.”
Arayomi was apprehended by operatives of the DSS for alleged politics-related prophecies he made.
The accused cleric had been making predictions about the 2023 Nigerian elections and the outcomes.
Ahead of the elections, he urged Nigerians to vote for an “outsider”, noting that the 2023 electoral process will first produce Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as President-elect but the subsequent events will throw up Peter Obi as the president of Nigeria.
