Monday Diamond Foundation, MDF, has described the emergence of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu OFR, CFR, MON (Ahaejiagamba) as the consensus Presidential candidate for Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Worldwide to succeed late Prof George Obiozor, as the best man to pilot the affairs of the apex Igbo sociocultural organisation.
MDF; the south east apex student orientated NGO and the host of The South East Debate 2021 as well as The National Debate 2022, in a congratulatory message by its Executive Director, Hon Monday Diamond Ani (Odoziobodo), added that “Chief Iwuanyanwu is the best thing that would happen to Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and the Igbo Nation in general based on his track record as a man of multiple equalities, with the embodiment of good reputation, integrity, honesty and his pro Igbo activism, emancipation and participation over the years.
“Recall that Chief Iwuanyanwu was one of the foot soldiers of Late Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu during the Biafran war where he played vital roles in the defence of Ndi Igbo during the war. Staking his life in defence of the Igbo nation.
“Chief Iwuanyanwu’s humanitarian and patriotic nature stands him out amongst his equals.
“I was with Chief Iwuanyanwu at his country home for an Official Visit days before his formal unveiling and my interactions with him shows he is a doyen who has many plans for Ndi Igbo if supported accordingly.
“The Chairman of Champion’s News Paper, founder of Iwuanyanwu International FC and other multi-billion business empires is the best for the job and will surely do well to unite, project and catapult the apex Igbo Socio Political Organization to its glorious height.”
JOURNALIST101 recalls that Chief Iwuanyanwu, has been presented to the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma as the replacement for the late President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof George Obiozor.
The presentation was made to the Governor by a delegation of the Imo Elders Council led by the Chairman, HRM Eze (Dr.) Cletus Ilomuanya, at the New Executive Council Chambers Government House, Owerri on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
