Former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, has revealed the funeral arrangements for his late wife, Lady (Mrs) Jane Udewo Amaechi Nnamani.
Late Mrs Nnamani passed on in Enugu on Friday, May 5, 2023, after a minor surgery.
Welcoming Former Chairman of Enugu State All Progressives Congress, Barr. Ben Nwoye who paid him a condolence visit on Friday, the Former President of the Senate said the wake keep of his late wife will take place on June 15th, 2023 at his country home in Amechi.
The funeral service which will be at Community field and interment will take place on 16th of June, 2023. On 17th, condolence visits continues while Sunday, 18th June will be the outing service and thanksgiving.
Tuesday, 20th June will be for the traditional rites by members of the community.
Briefing journalists after signing the condolence register, Nwoye, said: “We stand with our leader to condole him. His late wife was a great pilar that will be surely missed and what we owe her now is to give her a befitting burial.”
Also present during the visit were the son of the Politician, two traditional rulers from the area. HRM, Igwe Greg Ugwu, Traditional Ruler of Attakwu Akegbeugwu and Igwe Joe Ogbodo of Amachi Uwani among other relatives.
