The Executive chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo has congratulated the incoming Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah.
Mbah who was declared winner of the March 18th Governorship election in Enugu State, will be sworn-in on Monday, the 29th of May 2023.
Hon. Nwankwo who’s also the Convener, PVC Ambassadors Support Group for Gburus and Mbah 2023, in a congratulatory message made available to JOURNALIST101, said that Mbah’s victory at the poll is a clear demonstration of confidence by Ndi Enugu.
“On behalf of the people of Awgu LGA, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our incoming Governor on his well-deserved victory.
“Your election is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving the people. It is an honour to witness your ascent to this significant role, where you will undoubtedly shape the future of our state and make positive changes in the lives of countless individuals.
“As you assume your responsibilities as Governor, I have utmost confidence in your ability to lead with wisdom, integrity, and compassion. Your vision for our state, as outlined during your electioneering campaign and as contained in your rich manifesto, has inspired many and offers hope for a brighter future.”
He maintained that Enugu couldn’t have gotten a better man for the job at this time of dwindling economy the world all over and assured him of the unwavering support of his people.
“In these challenging times, your leadership will be instrumental in guiding us through adversity and towards a prosperous and inclusive future. Your ability to listen, understand, and address the concerns of all will undoubtedly foster a sense of unity and harmony among our diverse population.

The council Boss also commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for giving him the opportunity to serve and for leaving the state better than he met it, considering the economic realities his administration confronted.
