The flying eagles of Nigeria stunned host, Argentina 2-0 to advance to the quarter finals of the ongoing fifa under 20 World Cup.
Goals from Ibrahim Muhammad on the 61st minute and Rilwanu Sarki on the 90th minute were enough to send the host country out of the tournament.
Though favourites to win the game, the Argentine side couldn’t find the back of the net as the Nigeria team gave a good account of themselves and defended very well.
They will now face either South Korea or Ecuador in the next round.
