It was another milestone achieved as Members of the POCACOV Working Committee, Anambra State ably led by the State PVC Chairman, Prince Orjika Donatus, paid a courtesy visit to the PRO Zone 13, Ukpo, SP Josephine Ihunwo, at her office at Zone’s Force Headquarters, Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State, 30th June,2023.
The team was warmly received by the PRO at about 1pm local time, and was briefed on the activities of the Association across-the-board; aimed at improving the existing working relationship between the Police in the Zone the Club. Prince Orjika harped on the gains achieved and setbacks encountered by POCACOV in the past two years, as well as future opportunities to be explored to create more life changing opportunities for our children and young persons , through activity and forum based events Such as continuing outreaches to schools, churches and communities ,debate ,community sports activity, colloquium ,seminar as well as other community engagement activities by POCACOV Initiatives for Safer schools, Communities, Effective non combatant Community Policing and Social reengineering for talent hunting, identification through innovations and development for better society and National Rebirth . The Chairman called on Anambrarians of all levels to join the Volunteer Organization either Patron, Trustees, Ambassadors, Community Stakeholders, Student Volunteers etc, as more works need be done for Safer schools, Communities, Churches and the larger Society through non kinetic and non combatant approaches! Membership admission form he said, are available to interest volunteers.
While thanking the team for coming and also seeking a closer working relationship with the Zone, the PRO applauded the much harped activities and commitments of the State Chapter and sue for vigorous visitations and outreaches to schools, churches, communities and key Stakeholders to galvanize more and enhance participation supports among others. She further intimated the State Chapter members of POCACOV on the additional role of the state chairman of the Anambra State PVC Chairman, Prince Orjika Donatus as the Zone 13 Chairman, covering both Enugu and Anambra States, following his efforts and commitments of mobilization ,partnership ,participation towards problem solving in the state and it’s environs using the instrumentality of POCACOV as an NPf community policing Initiative and Public Relations Tool and added that POCACOV Chairman and his team have lived up to their billings in terms of promotion of Police / Civil Relations and insisting that the people are the Police and the Police are the people hence to work with different stakeholders and multi Agencies in problem Solving.
While thanking the Zone’s PRO, a key Stakeholder and Program Director of the State Chapter Ambassador Dr. Johnmary Ibeka, thanked the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun PhD,NPM for his firm stand and resolve on community policing implementation and to make the police Force more people oriented .He also applauded the efforts and commitment of the National Coordinator, CSP Ebere Amaraizu on how he is driving the initiative in line with the community oriented policing framework to cut across more Volunteer members of the community (A whole of Society Approaches )into POCACOV for problem solving and a development he described as Strenghtening of Police-Civilian relations in the Country and prides itself in much respect for human life/ dignity and a dignified civil society. He further stated that he has no doubts that the State PVC Chairman, Prince Orjika Donatus, now elevated to Zone 13 Chairman would continue to receive supports and perform better because of his commitments to team work and selflessness. He promised to continue to support the police force to entrench the ideals of POCACOV, both financially and otherwise, despite the current economic challenges in the country.

Moses Ndukwu, The State Administrative Secretary, Comrade Benson Ayadinuno, all took turns to appreciate the National Coordinator POCACOV,CSp Ebere Amaraizu and Nigeria Police Force for the good jobs being done, assuring the PRO of continuing Voluntary supports for POCACOV services to the people.He also used the occasion to inform the zonal police PRO for Zone 13 that POCACOV has wide range of community driven program like pocacov in my community , pocacov in my school , pocacov in my family and activities like pocacov inspire , ourchildrenmustthrive, Responsive and Responsible parenting,high performance community sports program and Pocacov self discovery and maintained that POCACOV is into PREVENT SOC policing which is Targetted at Young minds changing their mindsets ,thinking ,action as well as cutting the supply Chains and Conveyor Belts of their possible recruitment into membership of unlawful societies (cultism),organized criminal groups (OCGs).
The high point of the visit, was the presentation of campaign aids ,information and group photograph with the PRO.Gifts were presented by the Zonal Police PRO to the POCACOV Team in appreciation of their efforts and Commitment.
