The city of Enugu came alive like never seen before on Mondays in the past two years residents of the state came out for a a peaceful march against the Monday Sit-at-home which has been going on in the state.

The Governor of Enugu, Dr. Peter Mbah upon assuming office, declared that the state will not obey the illegal order which the mainstream Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has distanced themselves from.

The men, women and youths numbering over 5,000 walked the streets of the state in solidarity with their Governor, stressing that Sit-at-home is no longer funny.

Marching from Okpara Square to Eastern shop down to the popular Ogbete market, the residents said the state is bleeding while appealing to the residents to come out for their normal business activities.

They carried various placards with different inscriptions depicting their message.

“You enjoy overseas and punish us with Sit-at-home.”

“Enugu is Enough, say no to Sit-at-home.”

“Our mumu don do! No more Sit-at-home”

“We no longer meet up with our hire purchase because of sit-at-home.”

  1. NEVER YOU BOAST OF ANYTHING OR POWER THAT IS NOT OF GOD ALMIGHTY. HE ALONE IS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH. HE IS THE AY AND AMEN.
AT THE MENTION OF HIS NAME JESUS, EVERY KNEE MUST BOW.
WHILE OTHERS BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THEIR CHARIOTS AND HORSES, I AND MY FAMILY BELIEVE IN THE POWER AND SUPREMACY OF GOD ALMIGHTY.
TO HIM ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY!!!
