The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State, CP Ahmed Ammani, fdc, on August 14, 2023, commissioned the newly built permanent Office Complex for the Command’s Octopus Tactical Team, located in the Enugu Area Command Headquarters, Abakpa Junction, Enugu.
CP Ammani appreciated and commended the Officer in-charge of the team, SP Chidiebere Joseph Ijiomah, for the vision to start and complete the Office structures with the support of members of the public.
He charged him to ensure that the Office is put to proper use and to render assigned policing services to the public in excellent ways.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, anipr in a statement said the structures include well-equipped office accommodations for the Officer in-charge, his Second-in-command, Administration section, interrogation room, cells, among others.
The Octopus Tactical Team is a tactical squad of Enugu Police responsible cracking for heinous crimes and it’s likes in the state.
