Daniel Bwala, spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate in the last election, Atiku Abubakar, has described the appointments made so far by President Bola Tinubu as ‘renewed Nepotism’.
Bwala’s comment comes hours after the president announced another of his tribesman, Dr. Olayemi Michael Cardoso to serve as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for a term of five (5) years.
JOURNALIST101 recalls that the ministers of finance, Digital economy and Marine & Blue Economy are all from South West. Also, the new Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Hon. Zacch Adedeji is from South West.
In a post on his X-platform (formerly known as twitter), Bwala said Tinubu is following the footsteps of his predecessor, Mohammadu Buhari and is “unveiling his nepotism 15 pro max”.
