The Ohafia Development Forum (ODF) has hailed the appointment of Chief David Ogba as the chairman of Ohafia local government area by Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.
Journalist101 reports that Chief David Ogba, the Chairman/CEO of Bourdex Group was one of the Transition Committee Chairmen announced by the Governor on TuesdayÂ
ODF in a press statement made available to Journalist101, said: “The appointment of Chief Ogba will bring accelerated development and progress to Ohafia Local Government given his antecedent as a performer par excellence, a philanthropist, and a man of great achievements who have overflowing zeal to become a blessing to his people.”
The statement which was signed by Peter Agba Kalu and Comrade Goodluck Ibem, the President and Secretary of ODF respectively, also thanked “the Governor for bringing to bear such high level of wisdom in appointing men and women of capacity and competence to occupy such important and sensitive position.
“The Governor has shown a rare order of wisdom in appointing men of impeccable character like Chief Ogba to join him in the development of our dear state which have been lacking behind.
“Ohafia is truly blessed to have a man of Chief Ogba’s pedigree to leave his numerous businesses and important schedules to accept to serve her in such capacity.
“We urge all and sundry to support and assist our amiable Chairman to take Ohafia Local Government Area to an enviable height.”
