Chief Sir. Uchenna Cyril Anioke, Ph.D the President/Chairman-in-Council Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA) will be burying his beloved mother, Roseline Irunma Anioke on Friday, November 17th, 2023.
The matriarch of the Anioke’s joined the Saints triumphant in the early hours of 27th July, 2023 at Paulsonic Hospital, GRA, Enugu at glorious age of 98.
According to the family, her obsequies will commence on Thursday, 16th November, 2023 with a Christian Wake at Umuagwu, Imama, Amoli, Awgu L.G.A. of Enugu State.
On Friday, 17th November 2023, by 8am, her body leaves Eastern Nigeria Medical Centre Mortuary to her father’s compound, Uhuokpala Imama, Amoli for a brief stop over.
Thereafter, there her body will lie in state at her late husband’s compound; Umuagwu, Imama, Amoli, Awgu L.G.A.
The church service will commence by 11:00am at St. Gregory De Great Catholic Church, Amoli, Awgu L.G.A. This will be followed by interment and condolences.
The funeral ceremony/condolences continues on Saturday, 18th November 2023. The funeral rites will be concluded with an outing service/thanksgiving at St Gregory De Great Catholic Church, Amoli on Sunday, 19th November, 2023 by 10am.
Until her transition to higher glory, Chief Mrs Roseline Irunma Anioke was both a religious and community leader who left enviable legacies of love, peace, empathy, discipline, hard work, uncommon integrity and unconditional fear of God for the family.
She truly without let or hindrance lived a life of sacrifice for others, and always, willing to help the down-trodden and was a mentor to many.
She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother before her demise.
