The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos have sacked two member of the All Progressives Congress, APC as members of Imo State House of Assembly.
The Appellate Court sacked the Members representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency, Hon. Eddy Obinna and his colleague, Hon. Obodo, representing Owerri municipal.
The court in different rulings on Wednesday and Thursday affirmed Ezinwa Princewill Ugochukwu Amuchie of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the authentic winner of the Aboh-Mbaise House of Assembly seat, and Honourable Clinton Amadi of the Labour Party, the authentic winner of Owerri Municipal Constituency seat.
The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to withdraw the Certificates of Return earlier issued to Eddy Obinna and Obodo and issue same to PDP’s Amuchie and Amadi without any delay.
