The Appeal Court sitting in Lagos State has sacked Hon Destiny Nwagwu of the Labour Party as the member representing Aba north in Abia State House of Assembly.
The Appeal court declared Hon Aaron Uzodike of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the winner of the March 18th poll.
The Panel held that Hon Destiny Nwagwu could not prove in all the evidences that he was a Member of Labour Party before the election.
The three-man Appeal Panel also held that Hon Destiny Nwagwu was invalidly nominated and was not qualified to contest the election.
With today’s judgement, the PDP now has 12 members in Abia State House of Assembly while the Labour Party, YPP and APC have 9 2 and 1 members respectively.
