Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 20 wards of Ezeagu local government area, have congratulated Rt. Hon. Chima Obieze on his victory at the court of appeal.
Journalist101 reports that the appeal court sitting in Lagos sacked Hon. Udefuna Chukwudi of the Labour Party as the member representing Ezeagu Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly for not meeting the constitutional requirement to stand for the election
The appellate court declared Obieze of the PDP winner of the March 18th election.
In a congratulatory message signed by the coordinator of the forum, High chief Fred Onwuamaeze, the chairmen described Obieze as a “distinguished parliamentarian of great repute,” while expressing optimism that his track record of quality representation will be brought to bear to “ensure more quality service delivery, sense of humility and patriotism.”
