The member representing Ezeagu Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr Chima Obieze has announced the provision of free transportation for his constituents travelling for the festive period.
Obieze in a chat with Journalist101 said this is to mitigate the effect the hike in transportation fee will cost his constituents that intend to travel to village to celebrate the Christmas and one of the little ways to say thank you to them for their support.
The Lawmaker said arrangements have been concluded and the free transport scheme will start on Thursday, 21st December, 2023 and run through Sunday, 24th December, 2023.
“We are going to have two pick up points at Entraco Park, Abakpa Nike and Oando filling station at New Market from 8am to 12pm daily. 10 buses will be available to convey people daily.
The arrangement will cover the following schedule/routes;
Enugu to Eke-Agu Obeleagu-Umana
Enugu to Mopol Junction Imezi-Owa
Enugu to Iwollo-oghe/Aguobu Iwollo (Obodo Onueke)
Enugu to Orie-Engine Umumba
Enugu to Afor-Ugwu
Enugu to Obunofia junction
Enugu to Orie-Ezumezu
Enugu to Eke-Ugwu Awha
