The Honourable Commisioner, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology Enugu State, Prince Lawrence Ezeh has congratulated Governor Peter Mbah over his Supreme Court victory, describing it as a “meritorious winning for Ndi Enugu”
Mbah was earlier today, affirmed the winner of the 2023 governorship election by the Supreme Court.
The apex court, in a unanimous decision delivered by a five-member panel of justices on Friday, dismissed an appeal filed by the Labour Party and its candidate, Chijioke Edeoga, challenging the outcome of the governorship election held on March 18, 2023.
Engr Prince Lawrence Ozoemena Ezeh added that the victory is a proof that democracy today is “tilting towards meritocracy and not propaganda”.
In a Press Release he signed himself and made available to journalists, Ezeh said; “As a representative of this great Ministry of Innovation Science and Technology Enugu State, Commissioner Engr. Prince Lawrence Ezeh rejoices with His Excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah the Executive Governor of Enugu State on his well deserved victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
“Your victory at the Supreme Court Of Nigeria is a meritorious winning for Ndi Enugu as well as South Eastern States. It is a great development and proof that democracy today is tilting towards meritocracy and not propaganda.
“Your campaign slogan, ‘Our Tomorrow is Here’ is one which encapsulates the yearnings of the masses, and for the few months you have spent in the office, you have proven to Ndi Enugu that indeed, Their Tommorrow is Here”, he stated.
