The Enugu State government has concluded the training of 750 nano and micro entrepreneurs drawn from Enugu East and Enugu North LGAs on how best to to manage their business better.
The training, which is a business growth accelerator specifically designed for Young Business Women was organised by the Enugu SME Agency in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), the Mastercard Foundation and Lagos Business School-Enterprise Development Centre .
The 2nd and 3rd cohorts of the Transform the Nigerian Youth Program (TNYP), was dedicated to empowering young female nano and micro-entrepreneurs in Enugu State with vital knowledge and tools for business growth, access to finance, financial planning, and the art of creating compelling brand narratives.
The Head of Enugu SME Center, Arinze Chilo-Offiah said “successful cohorts are matched with Business Development Experts for 4 months to support them on business management, after which they are provided with single digit interest loans with sterling Bank or fcmb for up to three million Naira.”
Chilo-Offiah expressed gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Peter Mbah “for his unwavering commitment to nurturing the youth with advanced business skills, setting the stage for a thriving future.”
