…LP Lawmaker Congratulates Winner, Atigwe
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. Hon. Simon Atigwe has been declared the winner of the re-run election for Igboeze North/Udenu federal constituency election held in Enugu State on February 3rd, 2024.
The PDP’s candidate polled 23863 votes to defeat Hon. Dennis Agbo of the Labour Party who garnered 23226 votes.
Reacting to the victory of Rt. Hon. Atigwe, the Chief Whip, Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon Ejike Eze said the “victory reflects the trust and confidence that the people has placed in your ability to lead and represent their interests. Your campaign, characterized by integrity, passion, and a genuine desire for positive change, has resonated with voters and resulted in this well-deserved success.
